Transition Year Programme
This is a one-year optional programme available to pupils immediately after Junior Cycle. Pupils take stock of their educational progress to date; engage in individual and team projects; acquire essential life-skills, and develop a new awareness of their personal, civic, social and political responsibilities. Thus equipped, they are more likely to make mature and informed choices when they begin their Leaving Certificate Programme.
