Where it is absolutely necessary that a phone be brought to school phones (even silent modes) must be switched off and kept in lockers or school bags (not on their person).
As the Department of Education and Science does not allow mobile phones to be used as calculators or clocks this is also the school policy.
If a phone rings or is produced in a classroom or between classes the phone will be confiscated and returned only to the student’s parent/guardian.
The mobile phone is the sole responsibility of the student and the school does not accept liability if the phone is lost or stolen.
Students bring phones to school at their own risk.
