Tullow Community School has four girls Basketball teams. 1st year, cadette and senior. They play in the midlands region competition every year. The season begins with cadette and senior teams training in September. Matches usually begin by October. The teams in the competition this year include Scoil Mhuire, St Leo’s College, Presentation Carlow, Kilaellen and Tullow. There were close fought games in this year’s competition, however Tullow did not come out on top to go through to the finals.

The 1st and 2nd years begin training around Halloween and their games usually begin in January.
