Tullow bowed out of the Leinster Voc-School senior F.A championship in Rathangan Co Wexford last Wednesday. Tullow were the first of the mark with a neat point from Gary Owens. Bridgetown responded with 1-1 before Darragh Foley listed a Gay Nolan free to the net after eight minutes. Tullow were playing very well at this stage. Tullow had the ball in the Bridgetown net again after twenty five minutes Gary Owens getting on the end of a Darragh Foley line ball. However Tullow were rocked when Bridgetown scored 1-3 in the last three minutes of the first half. Half time score Tullow 2-3 Bridgetown 2-5.
Tullow never got going in the first twenty minutes of the second half and Bridgetown pulled away with five unanswered points. Tullow finished strong with the final score Tullow C.S. 2-7 Bridgetown 2-12.
