Welcome to the Tullow Community School Website

Tullow Community School was established in 1978 from the amalgamation of the Brigidine Convent Secondary School, the Patrician Brothers Secondary School and Tullow Vocational School. It aims to provide a comprehensive system of post-primary education open to all the children of the community. The school is co-educational and multi-denominational.


New School Extension

Our new school extension was opened recently by guest of Honor MR. Charles Flanagan, T.D., Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade

Office Opening Hours
From Thursday 30th June 2016 the school office will be open for the following hours over the summer.
Monday 9am-1pm – 2pm-4pm
Tuesday 9am-1pm – 2pm-4pm
Wednesday 9am-1pm – 2pm-4pm
Thursday Closed

It's Mama Mia Time.

Tullow Community School will stage the musical @It’s Mama Mia Time’ in the Fr Murphy Memorial Hall, Tullow on the week of 24th of October 2016.

Tullow community school today received their prize from Lidl Ireland for collecting the most tokens over 1000 euro worth of ladies GAA gear.

First Year Science Projects

All first year students completed Science projects based on a topic of their choice from the area of human biology. The members of the Science department were very impressed by the high standard of the projects submitted this year, both in terms of the research and creativity demonstrated by the students.  All students will be awarded marks which will form part of their final grade for the year.
